When planning a vacation, you probably feel thrilled that you get to go on a trip, but also a bit stressed out, with figuring out how long you can be away, where you will stay, and planning fun activities to do and attractions to see to make the most out of your trip.

I have felt pressure so often while planning what to see and do on trips: what time I could see attractions, how to get to them, and so on. While planning what to see on a European cruise my family went on in summer 2024 trip, I first figured out what attractions we wanted to see, then if we needed tickets to see them, and what times were open to see them. However, over the years, I’ve figured out how to make this process simpler and more straightforward with one word: Viator.
Viator is a company owned by Tripadvisor that allows you to research and book your spot to see attractions you want to visit anywhere in the world. They do not just allow you to book tours, but also how to get tickets to see landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower and Buckingham Palace. Viator is what I used to book tours in Hawaii on a whale watching tour, the UK to see Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath, and Italy to see the famous David statue in Florence, and also other places!
The Viator website is very easy to navigate. When you go to www.viator.com, you can immediately begin searching for attractions you want to see using the text box in the middle of the screen:
Or, you can search through their menu at the top left of the homepage:
When I type “London” into the search bar on the homepage, Viator gives me tons of tours in London, that I can filter by the time of day I want to take my tour, how long I want my tour to be, the rating people gave tours, how much I am willing to spend, and more! They also tell you what tours are most popular and give you a menu to narrow down the type of tour you want to take:
I actually did this exact tour in summer 2022 and loved it!
Viator makes it very easy to book the tour you want and to also give you ideas on what to see!
